As we approach the end of the year, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation for your continued support. It has been an incredible year, filled with numerous achievements and milestones.
Form 1 Enrollment
Enrollment of Form 1 students is currently in progress. If you have a child who will be joining us next year, please register now to secure their place. We are excited to welcome new students to our Eastern Heights College community.
School Fees
I would like to remind parents of the importance of paying fees on time. Your prompt payment enables us to provide quality education and facilities for our students. If you have any concerns or difficulties, please do not hesitate to reach out to our information desk.
Starlink Network
I am thrilled to announce that we have successfully installed the Starlink network, providing our students with fast and reliable internet access. This will greatly enhance their learning experience and enable them to stay connected with the world.
Solar-Powered Facility
In our efforts to promote sustainability and reduce our carbon footprint, we have installed solar power to the whole building. This initiative will not only benefit the environment but also reduce our energy costs, allowing us to allocate more resources to our students.
National Identification Documents
As we prepare for the upcoming 2025 ZIMSEC final exams, I would like to remind parents of Form 3 students who have attained the age of 16 to ensure that they obtain a National ID. This is a crucial requirement for registration for the final exams. Please make arrangements to secure the National ID for your child as soon as possible. If you require assistance or guidance on this process, please do not hesitate to reach out to the school administration. We are committed to supporting our students and ensuring that they are well-prepared for their exams.
Progress Reports
As we conclude the year, I encourage you to take time to discuss your child’s progress report with them. This is an excellent opportunity to offer guidance, support, and encouragement. Your involvement in your child’s education is invaluable, and we appreciate your partnership.
School Uniform
I would like to remind parents of the importance of adhering to our school uniform policy. A complete and neat uniform is essential for maintaining discipline and promoting a sense of pride among our students. Please ensure that your child wears the correct uniform, including black shoes, socks, blazer, hat/cap, tracksuit and accessories. Label some of these items to avoid unnecessary losses.
Drug and Substance Abuse
As we approach the festive season, I would like to stress the importance of guarding your children against drug and substance abuse. This is a critical issue that requires our collective attention. Please take time to talk to your child about the dangers of substance abuse and ensure that they are aware of the risks and consequences.
I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to our College Directors, Mr. and Mrs. Magada, for their unwavering commitment to providing the best quality education to our community. Their dedication to investing in our infrastructure, including the installation of solar energy and the Starlink network, has greatly enhanced our students’ learning experience. We appreciate their tireless efforts and generosity.
